Audiological Science Ltd. is a business that specialises in only providing the highest quality of Audiological and Ear-related healthcare services. The company was founded by the Managing Director in 2014. The company has grown to provide NHS and Private hearing services across England.
 

When do we collect information from you?
 

We collect information in many ways, which include:
 

  • When you interact with our website (booking forms, enter competitions, mailing registrations and updates).

  • You contact us by phone, email, SMS, WhatsApp to make an enquiry.

  • You contact us via social media to make enquiry.

  • You visit us in branch

  • You are referred into our services through another healthcare provider (NHS).
     

What types of Personal Information do we collect and process?
 

  • Personal information about you, including your name, title, postal address, DOB and email address. NHS customers will be required to provide NHS number and registered GP practice details.

  • If you make a purchase with, your credit or debit card details will be processed by our payment service provider (PaymentSense).

  • Information relating to your visit to our website which includes IP address, cookie information, name, email, regional location, browser and page interaction information.
     

Who has access to your information and how is it shared?


Your personal data may be transferred to, and processed in a location outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). Some countries outside the EEA do not have laws that protect your privacy rights as extensively as those in the United Kingdom. However, if we do transfer your personal data to other territories, we will put in place appropriate safeguards to ensure that your personal data are properly protected and processed only in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Your call may be handled by an employee in India.

We may share some information with our service providers when processing your orders. For example, your name on hearing aid or ear mould orders from our supplier.
 

We will share data regarding the outcome of our NHS visit with your General Practitioner and sometimes may send onward referrals to other NHS healthcare professionals in relation to your care. Non-identifiable data is also provided to the NHS in relation to the your care and our services in general, this is used for statistical, funding and planning purposes by the NHS. The call may be answered by our UK call centre or by an overseas call centre.
 

Access to your information
 

Your personal data is kept for 10 years before it is archived. You have the right to access, edit or correct your personal data. You may also request your data to be restricted or erased if we have no legal requirement to keep it.
